Caribe Royale Orlando in FloridaWelcome to the 2026 IATRC Annual Meeting! We look forward to gathering in Orlando for three days of discussion, collaboration, and exchange.
The tentative schedule for this year’s meeting will be held in person only at the Caribe Royale Orlando hotel:
- 9:00 am – 5:00 pm EST on Sunday and Monday
- 8:00 am – 1:00 pm EST on Tuesday
The theme for this meeting is “From Farm to Everywhere: The Full Spectrum of Agricultural Transport.” The themed sessions are being organized by Annelis Deuss (OECD), Sandro Steinbach (North Dakota State University), Sunghun Lim (Louisiana State University), Shamar Stewart (Virginia Tech), and Jason Grant (Virginia Tech).
Non-themed sessions are organized by Jonathan Coleman (U.S. International Trade Commission) and will be scheduled in the time slots following the Theme Day sessions. Individual and organized session proposals are due September 30, 2026.
The annual Hatch Multistate S-1072 meeting is co-organized with the IATRC annual meeting. Attendance at the annual meeting is required for faculty participating in this Hatch project.

- Registration opens September 1, 2026. The registration fee is $550 per person for the three-day, in-person conference. Students are eligible for a 50% discount; once registration opens, please select the Student Rate under the “Enroll Now” section.
- Cancellations received by November 20, 2026, are eligible for a partial refund of $475. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after November 20, 2026.

- The IATRC group room rate is $140.00 USD per night plus tax. This rate is for a run of suite-style rooms with either one king or two queen beds. Additional charges may apply for more than two people in a room.
- The group rate will be honored through the reservation deadline, subject to availability within our group room block. If our room block is exceeded, the hotel may have additional rooms available at the regular rate. Reservations canceled within five days of arrival, including no-shows, will be charged for one night’s room and tax.

AIRPORT AND TRANSPORTATION
- Orlando International Airport (MCO) is the closest airport to the hotel, approximately a 15-minute drive, depending on traffic. The airport offers taxi services at each of its three terminals.
- Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) is the second-closest airport to the hotel, approximately a 45-minute drive, depending on traffic. Taxis are available on demand directly outside the baggage claim areas. The airport offers several rental car agencies.
Ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft are also readily available.
